The day my arcade died

I was lost for words. Rumours that Playtime was closing down became true. The reason cited was that the rental cost in such a prime spot in the city was no longer substainable. Arcades worldwide faced the same problem as gamers fall back on their consoles.

The hardcore community in Sydney gathered together for one last outing, to celebrate and mourn Playtime’s existence.
